***Any dancer that misses classes the week before the show or tech rehearsals may not be allowed to perform in the show. All dancers must be in their classes the week prior to the show, no absences will be allowed****

We will hold some classes on Monday, June 3rd (classes have been notified via email) and all classes are cancelled on Friday, June 7th. 

 

Arrival - "If you're early, you're on time"

We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes prior to check-in to get familiar with backstage hallways and settle into your assigned dressing room. If planning to do hair at the theater, allow more cushion time for this, as well. We will run right on time, and we like to keep the rehearsal flowing. We will not pause rehearsal to wait on late arrivals, so don't be late! Calculate time for possible traffic and unexpected delays. This is a good first-run for all parties involved, including chauffeurs! 

 

Once you arrive, dancers should sit in the audience and watch until their class is called. There will be dressing room space to change in in-between dances. Parents are welcome to watch, but must remain quiet audience members and absolutely

NO PHOTOGRAPHY! 

 

Tech Rehearsal is also a DRESS Rehearsal - 

Dancers must wear their costumes, tights, shoes & hairpieces. They must also have their hair done. This is a great opportunity to practice hair. Make-up not required for tech rehearsal. Please label all personal items including costumes, dance shoes and water bottles labeled to reduce possibility of mix-up!

 

Tech & Recital Hair

• Hair is a high center bun for everyone, unless otherwise notified (Ballet, Jazz/Lyrical, Contemporary, Musical Theater, Tap, Hip Hop)

• Combo/Pre-school classes- Ballet/Tap & Ballet/Jazz 3-4yrs, 4-5yrs will wear their hair half up/half down. (Photo examples are sent in a separate email the week prior to photos.)

 

Clean Up 

Please take responsibility for the area and dressing rooms and clean after yourself. Each year we find costume pieces and bags left behind...remember to "leave it better than you found it!" Thank you for helping us keep the space clean.
