Hip Hop & Contemporary 

 

Nguyen Bui is a Dancer, Choreographer, and teacher currently residing in San Diego, CA.  Bui began his dancing career in high school with Mira Mesa High School’s Dance/Drill team. His experience dancing and choreographing for this team has been the basis of his versatile career.  His first professional experience as a dancer was with the renowned Unity Dance Ensemble. He continued his training around the San Diego area with a variety of teachers. 

 

In 2012, Bui became an apprentice for The PGK Dance Company, in spring of 2013 he moved into the main company, taking on repertory roles and becoming a featured dancer. In addition to dancing with The PGK Dance Project, he also guests for Heather Dale Wentworth’s Opus Mixtus as well as other various choreographers.

 

In spring of 2014 Bui graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelors of Science in Recreation Management. Bui has been with Inspired Movement since early 2010 teaching classes in various principles of dance.
