Program Overview

Inspired Movement’s Company Conservatory focuses on courses in many genres, molding well-rounded dancers. In addition to their weekly classes, they will also be guided in becoming better storytellers, creating content, and on-camera training. Master classes featuring distinguished guest artists, and leaders in the professional industry are scheduled monthly throughout the dance season, which provides students the opportunity to establish working relationships with various internationally renowned choreographers.

IMCC students will participate in multiple competitions and conventions throughout the season to gain performance and audition experience, as well as perform in multiple performing venues. They will have opportunities to work with outside choreographers as well as in house faculty for solos, duos/trios and groups.

Company Conservatory dancers will be given a unique opportunity to choose specific genres they would like to focus on. They will have mandatory classes they must train in, but some may train more or less in a specific style, depending on what they wish to compete or perform in. IMCC dancers will train based off graded technique but will also have their own private weekly classes for IMCC only. The IMCC culture is: INSPIRING, CHALLENGING, SUPPORTIVE, and COMMITTED.
